Sterile Compounding

Compounding Solutions Pharmacy & Wellness is proud to offer sterile compounding that is made in our state-of-the-art clean room. We offer a variety of sterile products, including vitamin infusions, eye drops, and injectables, such as Testosterone and Tri-mix. We also are able to make fortified antibiotic eye drops to clear up infections that are not responding to commercially-available treatment. We adhere to all recommended guidelines to ensure the safety and efficacy of all of our finished products. Our sterile pharmacist has received advanced training and is continually educating himself on the most up-to-date guidelines and practices. Our clean room suite undergoes regular rigorous cleaning and independent inspections by an independent testing facility.

We have strict policies and procedures in place to ensure the quality and sterility of our finished prescriptions. Some of the policies and procedures are as follows:

Bi-annual outside certification of our clean room, laminar airflow hood, powder containment hood certification, viable air sample testing
Environmental microbiology sampling
Independent lab testing
Proper cleaning and maintenance routines
Proper staff grooming and gowning before entering critical sterile room
Routine testing of our pharmacy staff's sterile technique
